On the Home Stretch to Summer… and Fired Up by Women Building Women
If you haven’t yet come across Buy Women Built, let this be your sign. I recently had the privilege of attending their conference in London—and wow, what a room to be in. A space filled wall-to-wall with powerful, ambitious, brilliant female founders building brands that matter. It was one of the most energising days I’ve had this year.
In the whirlwind of motherhood, business, and everything in between, moments like that feel like plugging back into the mains. I came away feeling recharged, inspired, and reminded of the importance of community—especially one built by and for women.

Keeping Up with the Kids (Literally)
This month’s adventures have been closer to home—shorter hikes, local bike rides, spontaneous runs with the kids in tow. And honestly? That’s okay. With three little ones, it’s not always realistic to plan big escapes. But I’ve come to appreciate the micro-moments too.
Highlight? A 10k run with some brutal hills, a pram, and my 9-year-old zooming ahead on his bike. Call it cardio-meets-parenting! 💪
Rooted in Growth – Quite Literally 🌿
I’ve also found a new love: plant propagation! There’s something beautifully satisfying about watching new roots form from an old plant. I guess it’s in my DNA—growing up with parents who ran a flower business, I’ve always been surrounded by green things, but it’s only recently I’ve felt the pull to nurture them myself.
Outside, the tomato plants are flowering, and the kale and chard are coming along nicely. There’s something grounding about it, a slower rhythm amidst the busy buzz of life.
Big Things Are Coming…
As we look ahead to the Summer Holidays, I know many of us are craving a reset—a pause before the busy Autumn/Winter season kicks off. At ACAI, we’re quietly buzzing behind the scenes. New collections are deep in production, and we will be further extending our collections beyond legwear. I truly can’t wait to show you what’s coming.
